How to Activate a DEWA Connection?

All you need to do is submit the required documents and pay the fees associated with activating the connection. Prepare the following documents:

  • Passport copies of tenant and landlord

How to Cancel DEWA Connection?

You can cancel your DEWA account online or visit the nearest Customer Happiness Centre. To cancel online:

  • Log on to the website.
  • Visit the ‘Deactivation of Electricity and Water’ page under ‘Quick Services.’
  • Select your contract account.
  • Select the Move-Out date, contact number and the method to receive your deposit.
  • Click ‘Submit’ to receive an email or SMS with your Move-Out notification number.
  • Receive the final DEWA bill using your registered email ID.

 

Keep your original security deposit receipt with you to collect the refund.
