This means that if you live close to a construction site, or an empty plot that has been ear marked for development, you may expect some disruption. 

Limited Public Transportation

One major downside of the Dubai Hills Estate is its lack of public transportation. Even though it has quick access to the city's major locations by road, public transportation options are limited. This means that currently, Dubai Hills Estate is most suitable for those who drive and either own or rent their own vehicle. However, this situation may improve in future. According to TimeOut Dubai, Dubai Hills Estate could eventually get its own Metro station, located close to the Dubai Hills Mall. For now, residents of the Dubai Hills Estate can use bus and metro facilities from the nearby community, Al Barsha.
